The Play
This one was all me, and it hit like a freight train.
Entries & Exits:
✅ Entry: $3.96 (Jan 13th, 2025)
🚀 Partial Exit: ~$16 (May 22nd, 2025)
💰 Final Exit: Fully closed on May 26th
🧮 Profit: Nearly $300,000 on a single trade
We stayed patient, sniped the entry at demand, and rode the breakout wave all the way up. Biggest trade of my career, and it wasn't luck.
The Catalyst
The setup started brewing when BlackRock took a position in D-Wave Quantum ( $QBTS ( â–¼ 3.93% ) ). That alone was enough to raise eyebrows. But I waited. Once the hype cooled and price dipped into a clean demand zone, I pounced.
When it finally broke the highs, day traders jumped in, volume exploded, and $QBTS started showing up on every scanner under the sun. The rest was inevitable.
Our Take
This trade was about discipline. I didn’t FOMO into the initial hype. I waited for price to come to me, $3.96, right at demand. From there, it was just conviction and timing.
