Plus: Navigating TSLA's FSD Catalyst

Good Morning!

The S&P's sliding after a weak jobs report, and futures aren’t looking too hot either. Broadcom’s AI hype took a hit, and Tesla’s setting up for a swing trade with serious potential.

We’re digging deep into how to trade Tesla’s FSD catalyst and what that could mean for your portfolio, plus some pro trading tips that might just change your game.

Let’s get into it 👇

🌡 Market Temperature Check

📉 S&P 500 Drifts Lower by 0.3% as Private Jobs Data Jolts Stocks Before NFP Report
Well, analysts fumbled again — private sector jobs in August came in way under expectations. With that disappointing report, investors aren't exactly thrilled going into today’s big jobs data drop. If we see another miss, expect the Fed to think about slashing rates more aggressively.

🤔 Futures inch lower, NFPs ahead, Broadcom's outlook - what's moving markets
Looks like Wall Street's feeling jittery — futures are dipping. Over at Broadcom, their sales outlook didn't exactly wow anyone, and the stock took a hit. Maybe the AI chip hype isn't all it's cracked up to be?

📈 What I’m Trading

$TSLA Swing Trade

The Play

Tesla is currently trading around $229, and our analysis shows a potential upside with several key levels to watch, starting at $233, pushing through to $260+ for those ready to ride the wave.

The Catalyst

Tesla's latest announcement about the upcoming Full Self-Driving (FSD) launch in Europe and China is the fire that could ignite this trade.

The official launch is slated for Q1 2025, pending regulatory approval, which Elon Musk expects by the end of 2024. Once that approval hits, Tesla is primed to roll out this paid service, which could significantly boost revenue streams in major international markets.

With Tesla’s innovation consistently making headlines, this news has the potential to propel $TSLA higher, especially as momentum builds closer to the regulatory deadlines.

Our Take

Why it’s a Buy? Well, first, let's look at the chart. Tesla has broken out of a consolidation zone, making a clean move above $220, and is now pushing upward past the $229 entry level. The 50-day moving average is curling up, and volume is ticking up, signaling that buyers are starting to pile in. We also see a tightening range pattern, which indicates that pressure is building.

The recent breakout over $225 means this trade has room to run if the momentum holds. With multiple layers of support under the $229 level, we like the risk-reward setup here.

Targets at $240 and $250 are well within reach, especially if we see some follow-through from this catalyst.

Don’t let another opportunity slip through your fingers because you didn’t know how to act. If you’re still sitting on the sidelines, unsure how to capitalize on plays like this, it’s time to get serious. The market doesn’t wait, and neither should you.

Don’t be the one watching from the outside while others profit.
